I can tell you this. After a couple of odd days and some personally reflective thought, I'm convinced once again that... Life is not a "problem to be solved", but rather a "mystery to be lived."
And to be completely honest, of course I have feelings about other people's lives. But to turn those "feelings" into "opinions" they would have to be shared. Out loud. So these days, I have NO opinions about other people's lives. I know people who are chasing happiness in the strangest and most elusive ways. (I guess at times, I am too.)
I'll just be content to do the best I can. I love that I get to do what I know I'm meant to be doing right now at this moment in my Life. We'll just hafta see what today brings.
Keep your fingers crossed for the weather this coming Saturday. I've got sooooooo many new songs I wanna share with all of you. If you're here in NYC, I hope I'll see you out in Central Park, at the usual place -- "The Hill".
.
Welcome to all of you checking in here from across the country and different parts of the world. THANKS for sharing the new "facebook song" with all your friends wherever they are. I'm hearing from people who are telling me the places they've sent the link. It really feels kinda cool to know that we might actually be making people laugh or smile all around the planet.
And email it to at least 10 friends you have on facebook or anywhere else. Post it to your "wall". Post it to your friend's wall. I'm havin' such a blast with this song.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
