Sorry about NO update again for the last couple of days.
For you guys in different parts of the country and different parts of the world I guess it's not as big a deal. But I know that a lot of you here in NYC have been wondering if we're gonna get to hang out in Central Park this weekend and, if so... where!?
.
Sorry. It's been a wild couple of days for me. Y'know, I often like to say, "One day in my life very rarely resembles the day before." Well, it's been especially true this week. I promise I will explain over the weekend.
First let me answer the big question first.
No.
Check back tomorrow morning. But right now it doesn't look good for music in the park. The Parks Department didn't issue us a permit to hang out tomorrow. (It's been a slow, weird start to this season. But things will even out.)
Listen... I'll fill you in on what's been goin' on. BUT FIRST!!!!
If you haven't done it already, copy this link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDHb4wewAIQ
And email it to at least 10 friends you have on facebook. Post it to your "wall". Post it to your friend's wall. I'm havin' such a blast with this song. If you wanna watch the video of the debut of this song in front of a LIVE audience, check out this video and pass it on as well!
.
.
And here...
This is just part of the "South Park" facebook episode. (Gotta warn you, it's actually posted backwards and there's a logo in the first minute or so. But, it's f*cking brilliant!)
.
OKAY NOW!
Like I said, every day in my life is a little different than the day before. Well, this week I booked another TV commercial and we're shooting the spot today.
BUT... the client and the and agency were both very specific and very confused about the look they wanted for this thing.... at the same time. So I spent about 15 hours over the last two days having shit done to my hair. It's hysterical.
But it's all cool. I'm getting to work with a whole bunch of really cool people. Everyone on this gig so far is really professional a really very cool.
I'll let you know more about this whole thing this coming week.
ANYWAY!
Okay now... about the new facebook song.
Click on the banner that falls into your bag... your feelings about facebook. Leave a little comment or a little story if you want... about your ex, about a childhood friend, about a moron, about a stalker, about a lost love that you found, about the most ridiculous thing you've ever seen posted. About whatever you want.
There will be a window that reads, "Respond to this video"
Go ahead!
.
.
And here are a few more.
Have fun.

Here... here's another for you to download for free.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
