AND... Happy Birthday to a woman who I now refer to as my "Chief of Stuff". You've seen her at the gigs with the video cameras, or handing out cards. Like James Marino, Kara, Allie... Laura's an invaluable member of the Creative circle of friends.

(Thanks for all you do to get the music and the message out there, Laura.)

Okay, I'm getting a LOT of emails from people wondering if I'm gonna be in the park today.
No.
.
A long time ago I would head out there as soon as the weather got warm enough. But now I've got to wait for the permits to be issued by the Parks Department. I put in all the paperwork and sent the checks for the permits back in December or January, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. The first application was for weekends in the month of May.
So... sorry. Not yet.
BUT! We're all getting together to kick off the Spring and welcome the new season on Friday, April 30th!!!!!
I'm gonna get some of your favorite artists together on one stage one mo' time before the new season begins! This week, I'm gonna make a push to get you as much information as I can about the gig. TODAY, I'm gong down to THE THALIA to ask the tech director in that venue about the possibility of streaming the thing LIVE on the internet like we did at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" in December.
That'll be cool if you aren't in New York. And it'll be cool if are in town and you can come to the concert. You can share your night with friends and family around the world at the same time... let them enjoy a concert online while you're actually in the audience.
Here, before anything else!!!!
Grab your tickets today.
The Leonard Nimoy Thalia On Broadway@ 95th Street
.
You can get them online right now by clicking on this banner:
Or, you can call the box office directly:
(212) 864-5400
.
Call a few friends and start making plans to get tickets sooner than later. (This theater is a lot more intimate than Merkin Concert Hall. Less than 200 seats.)
This is gonna be fun!
. . . Teresa Reynolds, George Wurzbach, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan, Chris Tedesco
Seriously... don't get sold outta this one!
Damn!
I write songs and I sing them for people. I love my life and I love the people I get to work with on a regular basis.
VERY COOL.
Here's are some video clip of a song about THE INTERNET (And my 10 minutes on a dating service) from the last gig with all the kids!

If you're new around here you might wanna start with this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
