Okay... listen!!!

Welcome to the website for the second Monday in April. Soooooo many of you have been checking in here for years.

Most of you are in the New York City -- and Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut...

But every year more and more of you are bookmarking this website across the country and in different parts of the world. (I'm a very lucky man.) I'm really grateful that all you guys show up. I've met so many beautiful people wherever I've played... Central Park, Germany, Mexico, the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Here in NYC, we're getting together again in a great music venue on Broadway... The Leonard Nimoy Thalia, for another night of music and laughs. If you're gonna be in town on Friday, April 30th you're not gonna wanna get sold outta this one. It's gonna be a special night. I really can feel it already. I know. I know. They're all really cool in their own way. But, I have a feeling about this one.

Click on the image... you'll see. These things are a blast.

This venue is a lot more intimate that Merkin Concert Hall so this concert is just gonna feel different.

I'll give you 2 ways to grab tickets TODAY a little further down the page.

But I wanna share a few things for the newcomers around here. Just some video that has been posted here in the last month or so.

I very often say that I am just about the least religious man you will ever meet. In fact, I've taken that thought a bit further in my song - THE RELIGION SONG.

Now, I'm also NOT one of those people who subscribe to the thought of the philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche who said... "God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him." Because I'm comfortable not knowing the unknowable. I think it was the great philosopher D. Harry who said, "A man's got to know his limitations."

I go the the church of "I DON'T KNOW".

Anyway, I think you will get an insight into me as both a man and as an artist if you just watch the following video, and discover for yourself how, through my new daily, morning meditation or mantra, I have become the kind of songwriter I am today.

Please take a few minutes and check out this video message.
(But don't cheat yourself. Listen to the whole thing.)

And give it a few seconds to load, okay?'

But seriously.... it only takes a few minutes. Don't turn the thing off a minute into it. you won't be sorry. I promise.

Now...

Now you understand.

As of today, there are only about 90 tickets left!!!

Hey! Any time I get to share a stage with the artists who are gonna be there at this gig, it's always a good, good time!

Grab a few friends and get tickets for the concert at the end of April!!!!

Friday, April 30th -- 7:30

THE LEONARD NIMOY THALIA
Broadway @ 95th Street

This is gonna be a fun, fun gig! I'm gonna be joined on stage by a lot of the same people we had so much fun with at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert".

George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana and the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds.

WERE YOU AT THE CONCERT THIS PAST DECEMBER!? DIDJA HAVE A GREAT TIME!?

Me, too.

So, do NOT miss this one!!! It's on a Friday night... April 30th!

But this time, ordering tickets is a little bit different!

This theater is a lot more intimate than Merkin Hall and there isn't a bad seat in the house. It's really gonna feel very, very cool. If you get tix in advance, ALL seats are only $25. If you wait until the day of the show, all seats are $30. So, save yourself five bucks and get them in advance!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
