It's always soooooo cool to see that so many of you are hitting this website from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
But here in New York City, we're gettin' together...
This is not going to be your typical concert experience. But it's gonna be fun and, I hope, really interesting.
A small audience is getting together in a beautiful little theater on Broadway at 95th Street to run a brand new concept for a show. You can be a part of it. There are still tickets left and they are talking about adding a few more seats comfortably if we need them tonight. So, you'll probably be able to walk-up to the box office tonight and still get in.
We'll be in THE LEONARD NIMOY THALIA at 7:30
(It's general admission and the doors open at 7:00)
.
Yeah.... it will be a concert of original music. But, it's going to also be a kind of a workshop, kind of an improv, kind of a run through -- this is gonna be something different. After this musical experiment we'll all have a Q & A session to see how you feel about what just happened on stage. I'll go through lots and lots of songs. Then we'll have a little back & forth session. Then if there's any time left and we feel like it, we'll all sing some songs together. Just like we do in the summer in Central Park.
.
If you're in the audience, you'll be hangin' out with a little piece of music history.
. Sid Bernstein, the man who brought The Beatles to America,
told me he's gonna be in the house that night.
Yeah, Sid will be there. Hope I see you there, too. I think this is gonna be fun.
Okay... if you wanna grab tickets in advance, just click on this banner:

If you're new around here you might wanna start with this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
