This week, this whole month leading up to the concert at The Thalia.
This gonna be fun.
I really love making music and working with the people I get to work with. From James Marino who built this website, to Laura Manske who's been handling.... um... like everything. To Kara from G.I.G. who's been backing me up to get these concerts on their feet for you guys.
But, y'know? I especially love when it comes time to get a bunch of artists in a room to kick around some NEW stuff. Got a few new songs we're gonna fly past you guys on April 30th. That's always, always a good feeling.
Of course we'll do a whole lotta the songs you all love to sing along with, like you do in Central Park.
.
I'll do a bunch of solo acoustic stuff. But, then I get to share a stage again with George Wurzbach, Teresa Reynolds, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan and Chris Tedesco.
AND, who knows what else is gonna go on.
I mean... click on this image for a few memories
from the gig at Merkin Concert Hall last December.
Now, I know there are so many of you who live in different parts f the country and different parts of the world. I'll let you know if we're gonna stream this concert LIVE so that you can be a part of it, too! (One of these days soon, we'll be doing interactive shows in which you'll be able to request songs from wherever in the world you are!!! Who knows? Maybe Jams, the Evil Genius, will be able to figure that out for this gig!)
Either way... THIS is gonna be fun.
The concert is Friday night, April 30th at 7:30 and it's gonna be a blast!!!!!!
At...
The Leonard Nimoy Thalia On Broadway@ 95th Street

If you're new around here you might wanna start with this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
