One week closer to Spring here in New York City. (I guess you guys who check in here from South America and Australia are gonna be heading into your winter soon.) We had kind of a snowy one this year in NYC. But, it's all good.
I wanna welcome everyone who stops by here everyday from different parts of this country and different parts of the world. It really means a lot to me that the people whose lives crossed mine somewhere along the way, in Central Park or Germany or the Caribbean... wherever, still show up here. The world is getting smaller and smaller in so many really good ways.
Here in The Big Apple I'm thinkin' we'll all probably get together for one more BIG concert before the "outdoor" season rolls around again.
.
I have to have a few more conversations before I can let you guys know exactly where, when and "if" another full-out gig with the whole band is gonna happen. But if this is something that we can pull off, I'll let you know as soon as it's a "go".
It might be on a Thursday night and that's the only sticking point. IF enough of you email and tell me that you'd like to make a real night of it like we did in December on Merkin Concert Hall... then we might just go for it.
Cool?
NEXT... do you guys think you'd like to do another season downtown on Pier 45 in Hudson river Park? Would you be up for another "Sunset concert Series" on Friday nights in the Summer?
Let me know. HIT THIS LINK and email me your thoughts a feelings about all of this stuff! (Or anything else that's on your mind.)
Okay...
Time for a few videos from last year.

Good?
If you're new around here you might wanna start with this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
