I know many of you stop by here every day from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. But here in New York...
HOLY SH*T!
Man! It was raining sideways here all day yesterday!
I mean, I was in a cab on Central Park West, waiting at a light, and the wind blew so powerfully that it began to rock the the cab and then move it into the car in front of us. It was howling... screaming at times during the day.
(It was actually kinda cool.)
But, it feels like a long ways away from those peaceful, warm, sunny afternoons in Central Park which are really right around the corner.
.
In the meantime, start spreading the word among your friends and start making plans, okay? We're getting together one more time "indoors" before the outdoor season begins.
I'm pretty sure the tickets for the next concert are going to go on sale this coming week.
NOW! Once again... here in New York City, we had a blast in Merkin Concert Hall this past December. Well, on Friday night April 30th I'm gonna share the stage at The Leonard Nimoy Thalia on Broadway at 95th Street with most of the same beautiful and crazy artists who jammed with me at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert".
George, Teresa, Ryan and Nelson have all said they're up for the next gig!
.
This week, maybe as soon as tomorrow, check back here for the announcement that the tickets are going on sale.
I've written a few new songs and we'll pull out all the favorites that you guys love to sing.
Oh, by the way... here's a little re-post of that interview I did with Jon Chattman. This guy has a fun cultural blog goin' on. (Although I don't know what the "mustache" gig is all about!)
Anyway... click on the banner for the interview.
.
VERY COOL.
Here are some video clips from the last gig with all the kids!

If you're new around here you might wanna start with this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
