Yeah, yeah... I say this all the time. The world is becoming a very small campus. A lot of you stop in here every day from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. It's very cool.
.
And some things have changed the face of communication and the way people get to be people with each other. One of those things is FACEBOOK.
Now, I gotta tell you. I was talked into getting a FaceBook Page like everybody else, their brother, their neighbors and all their pets.
And although there are sooooo many things about it that I still think are just ridiculous, for what I do with my life and my music it's probably a good thing. I mean... there are an awful lotta of people who really, really wouldn't wanna miss some of the amazing nights we have in some really great music venues here in town. But, they just don't know about them.
I'm gonna try to change that if I can.
SO!
If you're reading this right now, why don't you take just a minute or two to click on this link and become a "fan" of the FaceBook page. (I actually hate that they call that a "fan" page. I like to regard everyone simply as friends, colleagues, acquaintances and people who happen to dig my music.)
But here! Click on this image and then
hit the "become a fan" button.
I'm gonna start trying to update that once a day as I do this website.
FIRST thing you should know... I'm gonna use FACEBOOK to start getting the word out about the next "indoor gig.... the last one for this indoor season.
FRIDAY NIGHT - APRIL 30TH - 7:30
At...
The Leonard Nimoy Thalia On Broadway@ 95th Street
.
I'm gonna be with most of the kids in the band like I was at the "Year End" gig last December.
If you were there, you KNOW what a blast we had. If you missed it.... don't miss this one!
You can get them online right now by clicking on this banner:
Or, you can call the box office directly:
(212) 864-5400
.
Call a few friends and start making plans to get tickets sooner than later. (This theater is a lot more intimate than Merkin Concert Hall. Less than 200 seats.)
This is gonna be fun!
.
. . . Teresa Reynolds, George Wurzbach, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan, Chris Tedesco
Seriously... don't get sold outta this one!
Damn!
I write songs and I sing them for people. I love my life and I love the people I get to work with on a regular basis.
VERY COOL.
Here's are some video clip of a song about THE INTERNET (And my 10 minutes on a dating srevice) from the last gig with all the kids!

If you're new around here you might wanna start with this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
