Welcome to the website.

Today is all about ENLIGHTENMENT.

First.... once again I want to sincerely welcome all of you visit this site from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.

Now, most of you guys here in New York City know about the upcoming concert.

It's about a month away... Friday, April 30th and the tickets are already on sale.

I'll tell you more about that further down the page, and give you a way to get tickets today and all this week.

But for right now, I want to talk to you a little about a special kind of... enlightenment.

I very often say that I am just about the least religious man you will ever meet. In fact, I've taken that thought a bit further in my song - THE RELIGION SONG.

Now, I'm also not one of those people who subscribe to the thought of the philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche who said... "God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him." Because I'm comfortable not knowing the unknowable. I think it was the great philosopher D. Harry who said, "A man's got to know his limitations."

Anyway, I think you will get an insight into me as both a man and as an artist if you just watch the following video, and discover for yourself how, through my new daily, morning meditation or mantra, I have become the kind of songwriter I am today.

Please take a few minutes and enjoy this video message.
(But don't cheat yourself. Listen to the whole thing.)

And give it a few seconds to load, okay?

.

Now...

Now you understand.

.

.

(Thank you, Osho!)

OKAY!

The concert is Friday night, April 30th at 7:30 and it's gonna be a blast!!!!!!

At...

The Leonard Nimoy Thalia
On Broadway @ 95th Street
.

I'm gonna be with most of the kids in the band like I was at the "Year End" gig last December.

If you were there, you KNOW what a blast we had. If you missed it.... don't miss this one!

You can get them online right now by clicking on this banner:

Or, you can call the box office directly:

(212) 864-5400

.

Call a few friends and start making plans to get tickets sooner than later. (This theater is a lot more intimate than Merkin Concert Hall. Less than 200 seats.)

This is gonna be fun!

.

. . .
Teresa Reynolds, George Wurzbach, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan, Chris Tedesco

Seriously... don't get sold outta this one!

Damn!

I write songs and I sing them for people. I love my life and I love the people I get to work with on a regular basis.

VERY COOL.

Here's are some video clip of a song about THE INTERNET (And my 10 minutes on a dating srevice) from the last gig with all the kids!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
