I guess you've noticed that the "daily" updates have been getting a little spread out these past few weeks. And I know there are sooooo many people here in New York City and across the country and in different parts of the world like checking in here every day to see what's up.
I really apologize. It's just that there have a been a few things going on... just, y'know, possibilities... that have been calling mt name lately. (And if you know me at all, you know that I am a possibility-junkie!)
Listen, it's that character trait that is probably one of the main reasons there is a "Guitar Man from Central Park" in the first place!
Man! I love writing songs and singin' them for people.
Still...
I do apologize for the dearth of content lately. Got a lot goin' on.
Um.... let me think. What can I give you guys today, just to make this drop-by worthwhile?
Hmmmmmm.
Well, here's a little video that might make you smile.
Remember this!?
Now, okay... it's a rock n roll classic. But, this video popped into my mind the other day for a reason.
All four of the models in this shoot are movin' to the music, on each beat. Except the woman second in from the left, just to the left of Robert Palmer is doin' a little double-time-thing that's IN her whole body. That woman just IS the music. Unlike the others who are dancing TO the music, this one has it in her entire body.
She moves like one of my new favorite female artists.
The amazing Teresa Reynolds who shared the stage with me at Merkin Concert Hall last December. (I'm gonna have some more video from that great gig very soon here on this site.)
In the meantime, here's a re-post of the "Classic Lyrics" video.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
