The concert is on... one week from tonight. Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW! This is gonna be a special night and UNLIKE anything I've done before. Trust me on this one. I woke up yesterday morning with the most outrageously cool idea. So, I have a feeling you're gonna wanna be in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia theater next Thursday night.
.
This is gonna be something very different and pretty special... I think. I've got a really good feeling about this. So, you're thinkin' you got nothin' else goin' on that night, you're gonna be in town and you wanna get tickets...
And... Go!
You can get them online right now by clicking on this banner:

We're gonna break up this winter IN ONE WEEK!!!!
THURSDAY NIGHT MARCH 4th!!!!!
7:30 at THE LEONARD NIMOY THALIA (Broadway at 95th Street)
This is a very cool, very intimate theater space. It's perfect for the kind of evening I've got in mind. If you were at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" you already know how good these things feel. But, that was at the 500-seat Merkin Concert Hall! This cool little venue only has 154 seats. So, this is really gonna feel like "It's Just Us"
Just make sure you don't get sold outta this one.
I'm gonna be sharing something with you guys that might be a future project... something entirely new... something brand new. I mean... brand spanking new! (Pardon the kink.)
After the weekend, I'll give you an update and let you know how many seats are left, okay?
OH AND... I'm gonna talk to James Marino about streaming the event live. But, I might decide against that because I'm planning to unveil an idea for an artistic endeavor and I'm not completely sure I want it made public on the internet quite yet. We'll see how it goes. If you're one of the many people checking in here from across the country or a different part of the world, we might stream the gig LIVE. We might not.
Check back!
Um... if you're brand new around here, if a friend just turned you onto this site and you have NO idea what this is all about... it's kind of tough to explain. Except that most of what I do begins with music. Here are a few recent songs to just give you a vague idea about how much fun we have around here.
Download 'em for FREE. (They're from the latest album.)
If you're new around here, you might wanna start wit this little gallery of photos from last summer which were shot my Laura Manske and others that lots of people have sent in to the website.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
