Welcome to the website. I don't know from where in the country or where in the world a lot of you are checkin' in. But, here in New York City...
It's c-c-c-c-cold!
But, y'know? It's winter. That it's job!
Feels like we're a long way from those great warm summer days in Central Park.
But, I'm working all this week to figure out the next "indoor" venue for all of us here in The Big Frozen Apple to get together again... probably in March. (Which is only a few weeks away. February is a short month by a couple of days!)
Oh hey!
I'm gonna be cool about the whole thing. But, I wanna say THANKS for all the great feedback you emailed about my interview on The Barry Z Show this past Friday. And... Ha! I hafta say, I agree with almost all of you!
Well, alright. We're moving on.
(BTW - I still think that "alright" should be a real word!!!!)
Alright!
NEXT WEEK - I'll either out this site in the capable hands of the Evil Genius and webmaster, James Marino... or I'll just let all of you take a little break from the daily updates.
I'm heading south to do an annual gig in the Caribbean. In the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh!
Now... if you're new around here you might wanna take a few minutes to browse through the "Archive". Or, y'know.... hit either of these 3 links to have a little fun lookin' around to see what this is all about.

Help somebody shake the mid-winter blues. If you had a laugh or even a smile watching this video, wouldja pass it on to a friend or two? We like to laugh around here... A LOT!!!
Thank you all for the phenomenal time we had at Merkin Concert Hall this past December. Here's a little tiny clip from the "This Year's Question" section:
There's a lot more of this video. What a great time we had at that gig! I'll post some more laughs and some songs soon.

Thanks for everything.
Be nice to each other today.

David is available for private parties and events. Please call (646) 504-7275 for fees and availability.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
