Welcome to the website!

New Year, hah?

So funny...

We put such arbitrary numbers on the moments of our lives - - trying our best to make sense of an incomprehensible concept like eternity an the perpetual string of eternal moments like NOW.

Cracks me up.

But this morning I noticed that today's date is kind of a palindrome... just kind of a cool-lookin' number we're assigning to today. And so I took it a step further and set the "time" for this update at 10:01am and 2 seconds.

So, the date reads...

01-02-2010

The month and date is the year backwards...

So, the posting of this update reads... 2010-01-02/10:01:02

OH, WHO CARES!!!!

.

.

.

(But, I kind of notice shit like this.)

Okay so...

HOW'S THE YEAR GOIN' FOR YOU SO FAR?

Good, I hope. Oh listen... I posted a whole lotta really cool moments from last year, photos and videos. But, I left out 2 really cool moments from the very last day of the season. so, here they are.

Okay...

Listen, I'm outta here.Got a little gig I hafta play tonight and I have 2 kind of exciting projects for 2010 I hafta get started on. Might as well jump right in.... so I guess I flip the sign back right away.

I'll see you all back here tomorrow after I'm finished yelling at the television in the morning. (I do that almost every Sunday morning as I watch the political talk shows. Drives me nuts to hear people lie so consistently. But ultimately, on shows like "Meet the im-Press-ed with themselves", "Chris Mathews Gossip Girls", "This Week with George Stuffing-Envelopes" and "The McLaughable Group"... after a while it's just like watching a bunch of silly teenagers sitting around the cafeteria table trying to impress one another. The stakes are higher.... but the behavior is the same.

Silly, silly little people.

Anyway... I guess I'll be writing more songs in 2010.

See you tomorrow.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
