Welcome to the website.

Gonna have some fun around here today. I'm gonna re-post both videos from yesterday... the one from the concert last December and the BIG question about Dorothy and "The Wizard of Oz"

But before we get into all of that...

.

.

.

Got something goin' on tonight and it isn't just for those of you here in New York City. I know there are a whole bunch of you who check in here everyday from across the country and in different parts of the world.

YOU'RE included in this thing too, because it's an online internet-radio thing.

I'm gonna do a really fun interview kinda show tonight with a guy who really loves music and the people who make it. His name is Barry Z. You'll be able to call in and we'll have some fun LIVE!

Okay!?

This is what you do.

I'll be hangin' with Barry between 6:00 and 7:00 this evening. I don't know... we'll probably play some music, talk about what's goin' on, share a few laughs... probably just make it up as we go along. That's what I'm used to! You'll be able to call in and hang with us. Here's the number:

1-877-CHAT-212

Here's the link to his show so you can listen online. Go check it out a little early and look around. Get familiar with this guy.

And seriously...

Jump in tonight! 6:00 -- GO TO THE "BARRY Z SHOW" AND LISTEN... AND BE SURE TO CALL IN IF YOU WANNA HAVE A LITTLE FUN!!!

If you're new around here, you might wanna check out this little photo gallery from last year's summer season in Central Park. Y'know.... it was year number 18.

Holy sh*t!

AND HERE ARE THE VIDEOS!!!

Wanna have a few smiles today for absolutely no reason at all?

Let me share a few moments with you from "The Something'th Annual Year-End Concert". This past December, I got to share a stage again with some of the most talented, generous, sweetest, open-hearted, genuinely coolest artists on the planet.... people I am also lucky enough to call "friends".

Do me a favor.

Help somebody shake the mid-winter blues. If you had a laugh or even a smile watching this video, wouldja pass it on to a friend or two? We like to laugh around here... A LOT!!!

Thank you all for the phenomenal time we had at Merkin Concert Hall this past December. Here's a little tiny clip from the "This Year's Question" section:

There's a lot more of this video. What a great time we had at that gig! I'll post some more laughs and some songs soon.

But, yeah. Sometimes I play songs... to make a bunch of strangers... SKIP! (Okay, I didn't write this song. But what the hell!)

Have fun. I'll post the longer version and some LIVE songs very soon. And here's just another fun video from last summer... one of those ridiculously cool, spontaneous moments we've all gotten so used to out there in the park every week.

BUT!!!!

I've got a new idea that's kickin' around!!! Hopefully, I'll be able to tell you more about it next week! I'm gonna ask you all to write in and give me your thoughts about it.

Here... here's another for you to download for free.

Thanks for everything.

Be nice to each other today.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
