NOW THIS IS THE TIME OF YEAR... Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" is on TV again. Always brings back so many memories.
I remember back before shooting this scene with Bing back before the studio knew that Danny Kaye was available. (Well, turns out he was available and an infinitely better dancer than me.)

Y'know... maybe I should begin another gallery of the film career that only exists in my mind.

TODAY... I'm gettin' together with the people who are gonna be sharing the stage with me at Merkin Concert Hall in one week.
The concert is in one week.... next Saturday night!!!
The box office is open today between noon and 7:00

"THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR END CONCERT" IS ONE WEEK AWAY, so we're running a whole bunch of songs this afternoon in a rehearsal studio in midtown. (It would probably take genuine pros like these about 3 hours to run through and nail down the number of tunes we're gonna do. But, I always book an extra hour of studio time so that we can laugh, tell stories and really enjoy each other's company while we work. To me, that's important. It's important to the Spirit of the gig and it might the difference in the way I like to work as compared to other artists.
It's also gonna be the first time a few them will be in the same room with each other. (And a couple of the artists might actually meet for the first time on stage that night!!!) But, that's what keeps it fresh and interesting and.... well, it's just kinda who I am and what I love to do.
Be sure to grab your tickets for the concert so you don't get sold out of it!
YOU CAN CLICK ON THIS BANNER AND ORDER TICKETS ONLINE, TODAY.
Who's the luckiest man alive? (I am. Right?)
I mean, in one week... we'll be doing a whole bunch of new songs from the latest album, and I'll be joined on stage by some of the most generous, open-hearted, talented, good people... really wonderful artists. George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Dave Marcus, Chris Tedesco and Cenovia Cummins. Folk-legend, Christine Lavin is gonna be in the house and will probably jump in on a few things. The man who brought The Beatles to America, Mr. Sid Bernstein, is gonna be in the audience so we'll all be in the company of American music history. AND... we laugh as much as we sing at these gigs.

You're not gonna wanna miss this one. This year it's on a SATURDAY NIGHT - - December 12th.
This year we're also gonna be joined on stage by newcomer, the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
