Yes. The newcomer on stage this year is an amazing singer named Teresa Reynolds. (More further down the page.)
It's a new week, and I've got a week of cool stuff goin' on around here.
BUT!!!! I hafta start out today by telling you... I got together yesterday afternoon at Ultrasound Rehearsal Studios in midtown with a bunch of the artists who are gonna be on stage with me at Merkin Concert Hall this coming Saturday night.
It's AMAZING working with such great people. I mean, gifted and professional, yeah, yeah. But what really counts is that they are all really great people!
I'm used to being surrounded by wonderful people all summer in Central Park.
And now that the "indoor" season is here, it's time for...
"THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR END CONCERT"
I'm gonna check the box office today and let you know tomorrow how many seats are still available!
Merkin Hall is a beautiful, great sounding 500-seat theater but it feels very intimate. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Even the balcony is right up near the stage.
The BOX OFFICE IS OPEN TODAY!
Call a few friends, and then call Jake in the box office and grab some seats!

This year we're also gonna be joined on stage by newcomer, the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds. She's the woman the guy in the first vodeo was talkin' about.

Y'know who else is gonna be there!?
George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Dave Marcus, Chris Tedesco and Cenovia Cummins. Folk-legend, Christine Lavin is gonna be in the house and will probably jump in on a few things. The man who brought The Beatles to America, Mr. Sid Bernstein, is gonna be in the audience so we'll all be in the company of American music history. AND... we laugh as much as we sing at these gigs.
AND!!!!
If you haven't done all your Christmas shopping, the brand new CD is gonna be on sale at the gig!
This new CD makes a great holiday gift.I mean, it's a uniquely New York gift and... well... it's rrreeeeaaallllllyyy easy to wrap!!!
'
Y'know, to really celebrate it's arrival we'll just make the "Year-End Concert" this week a kind of "release party" as well as the fun tradition that gig is every year! It's gonna be swell to get all the artists on stage with me to play this thing LIVE.
AND!!! Hit me through this website's CONTACT button and let me know where and when you saw this guy, okay?

If you see him around Manhattan, say "Hi" to him! He's a nice guy! And then shoot me an email and let me know where you spotted him!
AND THEN (if you haven't already) be sure to grab your tickets for the concert so you don't get sold out of it!
Hey! Here are the links for the 2 brand new galleries.
.
After you're all done here and you HAVE your tickets, here's another fun thing to do. (Especially if you're new around here.) Browse through "The Archive".
Outta here.
See you guys back here tomorrow!
Thanks for everything.
.
PEACE
Closed for 2009! See you in 2010!
David is available for private parties and events. Please call 646-224-8162 for fees and availability.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
