Merkin Concert Hall 129 West 67th Street (Between Broadway and Amsterdam)
Or, you can try to order them online right now but clicking on this link.
The house opens tonight at 7:00 and the gig starts at 7:30.
Folk legend Christine Lavin is gonna introduce the whole thing and we might even be able to get her up on stage to jam a little. Singer/songwriter and amazing talent Cassandra Kubinski is also gonna be in the house. The man who brought The Beatles to America, Mr. Sid Bernstein, is gonna be in the audience, too. So we'll all be in the company of American music history. AND... we laugh as much as we sing at these gigs.
AND!!!! Bring a little extra cash with you!!!!
Because if you haven't done all your Christmas shopping, the brand new CD is gonna be on sale at the gig! Actually all the CDs will be there.
This new CD makes a great holiday gift. I mean, it's a uniquely New York gift and... um... well... it's rrreeeeaaallllllyyy easy to wrap!!!
'
Y'know, to really celebrate it's arrival we'll just make the concert tonight a kind of "release party" as well as the fun tradition that gig is every year! It's gonna be swell to get all the artists on stage with me to play this thing LIVE.
Hope I see you there.
Okay, I'll be back tomorrow. but before I leave... here's a small Photo Gallery from this season in Central Park.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
