Got a really fun "Create a Caption Contest" goin' on here today and some of the entries are hysterical. (I'm gonna post some of the captions you've sent in.)

Got the brand new "Video Gallery" here today. (So, you can check out a bunch of them in one place.)

Got the "Photoshop Gallery" here today, too. (Both of these galleries will continue to grow.)

Got some track samples here today and another song to download for free. (Music is what this is all about after all.)

Got milk. (Just had to throw that in.)

.

So, let's get on with the update!

OKAY!!!

First up - yesterday I launched the new "Photoshop Gallery". Well, today... here's the new "Video Gallery". It's a place that will continue to grow and change as I add more and more videos. This is just a beginning.

Cool?

Okay now...

THE CONCERT

I am the luckiest man on earth to be able to do what I do for a living. I mean, I write songs and I sing them for people. I can always tell people, "You can know that you're doing what you're meant to be doing because.... it just feels Good, with a capital G." And you guys have made me "That Guitar Man from Central Park" for 18 years now. Very under-the-radar. What a gig! What a Life! Thank you!

At the end of every lap around the Sun we get together and kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door in a great music venue near Lincoln Center... Merkin Concert Hall in the Kaufman Center.

This year we'll be doing a whole bunch of new songs from the latest album, and I'll be joined on stage by some of the most generous, open-hearted, talented, good people... really wonderful artists. George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Dave Marcus, Chris Tedesco and Cenovia Cummins. Folk-legend, Christine Lavin is gonna be in the house and will probably jump in on a few things. The man who brought The Beatles to America, Mr. Sid Bernstein, is gonna be in the audience so we'll all be in the company of American music history. AND... we laugh as much as we sing at these gigs.

.

You're not gonna wanna miss this one. This year it's on a SATURDAY NIGHT - - December 12th.

You can call the box office today between noon and 7:00

212-501-3330

Or you can click on this banner to grab tickets online

This year we're also gonna be joined on stage by newcomer, the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds.

Seriously, you're NOT gonna wanna miss this one. As I promised, here are a couple of samples from some of the songs we'll probably wind up doing a the gig this year.

KEEP HOPE ALIVE

INTERNET ANGEL

ANY OTHER WAY

And, I don't know if you picked up on it... but 2 words showed up in each one of those shouts at the top of this update. Well, here's a free download for you guys today. I was explaining to a friend yesterday that I feel that this might be the finest song I've been lucky enough to have written up until now. Maybe I'll explain the reason I say that at the concert this year. But for now, here's the song for you... for free.

to download the song.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
