Here in New York City, we're gettin' ready for another night of music and laughs....to kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door. No.... not in Central Park. The "outdoor" season is over for Year #18.

Also, as elsewhere in this country, here in New York this is the beginning of Thanksgiving Week. Of course, for me, preparing a proper Thanksgiving dinner would come with it's own challenges.

So, I'm probably gonna do what I hafta do around here to get ready for the upcoming concert, and then head out the home of one of my wonderful sisters (I have 4, y'know.) ... for a kickin' Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. (I'm a very lucky man.)

Okay...

THE CONCERT

I am the luckiest man on earth to be able to do what I do for a living. I mean, I write songs and I sing them for people. I can always tell people, "You can know that you're doing what you're meant to be doing because.... it just feels Good, with a capital G." And you guys have made me "That Guitar Man from Central Park" for 18 years now. Very under-the-radar. What a gig! What a Life! Thank you!

At the end of every lap around the Sun we get together and kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door in a great music venue near Lincoln Center... Merkin Concert Hall in the Kaufman Center.

This year we'll be doing a whole bunch of new songs from the latest album, and I'll be joined on stage by some of the most generous, open-hearted, talented, good people... really wonderful artists. George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Dave Marcus, Chris Tedesco and Cenovia Cummins. Folk-legend, Christine Lavin is gonna be in the house and will probably jump in on a few things. The man who brought The Beatles to America, Mr. Sid Bernstein, is gonna be in the audience so we'll all be in the company of American music history. AND... we laugh as much as we sing at these gigs.
