Welcome to all of you who are checking in from across the country and from different parts of the world. Here in New York City we're gettin' ready for the big year-end concert in December. Yeah, it's time to move indoors.

But before we get to the update and the concert...

.

REASONS THE YANKEES SHOULD WIN TONIGHT

Okay... here are just 4 more reasons why The Yankees oughta win the World Series Championship tonight at home.

Reason #1:
.

Mascots.

.
Phillies (Phanatic) v. Yankees (Kate Hudson)

Reason #2:
.

Puhleeeeez.

.
The great and beloved Yogi Berra with Michelle Obama and Jill Biden v. (Oh, never mind)

Reason #3:
.

I'm gonna be in the stadium with my friend Andrea from "The Hill" in Central Park and I'll bring you more original video like this one!

.

Reason #4:

I'll get to bring back the Good Luck girls tomorrow!

.

.

OKAY... MOVING ON!!!!

If you're gonna be in or around New York City during the second weekend in December, I hope I see you at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert". It's a blast every year, but I've already got a special feeling about the gig this year. It has a ot to do with the artists with whom I'm gonna share the stage. George Wruzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Cenovia Cummins, Dave Marcus, Teresa Reynolds... and I just got word that we'll also be joined by Chris Tedesco, the guy that rocked the gig last year with his fiddle and mandolin.

I know for a fact that Sid Bernstein, the man who brought The Beatles to America, and folk-legend Christine Lavin are both gonna be in the house that night. I'm sure there will be a few surprises. We laugh as much as we sing at these things. Gonna be great.

Here's a TV spot I'm gonna try to get on the air during The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in a couple of weeks with your help.

Listen, I'm an independent musician. Ha! I'm sooooo makin' this Life up as I go along. So, if you think it;s crazy for a guy like me to want to advrertise the new CD and th upcoming concert on television, then ignore this next part.

But, if you think it's pretty cool to be living this out loud and you feel like helping, then won't you throw a few bucks at the TV AD CAMPAIGN so I can buy a little air time on TV here in Manhattan!!!? Click on this banner to donate whatever you can!

It's the TV AD Campaign of 2009... and yes, I'm out of my mind. You can also just go to the link in the right hand corner at the top of this page and reach the donation page that way, too.

So, cool.

If you want to order tickets to the concert, you can call the box office directly:

Okay, I'm outta here. I'll be back tomorrow with another update.

Thanks so much for hangin' out and checking in here.

Thank for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
