Y'know what?

We're calling today November 12th. But let's start out today's update by talking about next month.

Rumor has it that... next month there will be another day with the number 12 on it.

December 12th

And that's the day of "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" (More about that in a minute.)

First, I wanna thank YOU.... yes you. Reading this right now, if you clicked on that banner yesterday or hit the contact button and gave me a "shout". It was very, VERY cool to hear from you. I mean it. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was kind of overwhelming. (I'll try to answer as many as I can.... even if just a tiny shout back.)

I also wanna thank everyone for another phenomenal season out in Central Park. I've been "That Guitar Man from Central Park" for 18 full years now. And every year is typically amazing.

. . .

NEXT WEEK is gonna be pretty cool around here... especially if you're reading this and you live on the island of Manhattan.

Getting close to the time when we wrap each year up and send it on it's way with a gig at a beautiful music venue near Lincoln Center called Merkin Concert Hall. The concert next month is dubbed the "Something'th Annual" because no one can remember how many of these gigs we've done in that great room. I can tell you this, though. There's something special about that place. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Even the balcony feels like you're right up front near the stage. And the place "sounds" great.

Here's a clip form an impromptu moment a few years back. (The sound quality is lacking because of the camera used to catch this footage. But, we had a great time.)

Now...

NEXT WEEK - is going to be a very interesting week around here. I hope. Next week, I'm gonna do something ridiculously courageous or just plain nuts to get the word out about...

THE CONCERT!!!!!!

This year we'll be doing a whole bunch of new songs from the latest album, and I'll be joined on stage by favorites George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Chris Tedesco, Cenovia Cummins and Dave Marcus. Gonna be a blast!

.

You're not gonna wanna miss this one. We laugh as much as we sing. This year it's on a SATURDAY NIGHT - - December 12th.

Call the box office today!!!

This year we have a newcomer joining the hang on stage... the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds.

Okay, I'm outta here. I'll be back tomorrow with another update.

Thanks so much for hangin' out and checking in here.

Thanks for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
