Welcome to the website. Great win by The New York Yankees last night. (More about that down the page.) And our yearly, traditional concert is only 6 weeks away. (More about that, too.) But first... did you set your clocks back an hour?
I know a lot of you are checking in from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. So, if this doesn't apply to you... LEAVE YOUR CLOCKS ALONE!!!
Here in New York City, today is Marathon Sunday.
So, there is NOTHING going on in or around Central Park other than that! It's an amazing event and the energy surrounding it is palpable throughout this city. Very cool.
Now, yesterday was a damp, rainy day here in town. So, there wouldn't have been any music for me in Central Park anyway. Still, this is the first weekend after my season is officially over and I guess I kinda go through a little withdrawal. It was another typically amazing season of music and laughs for me and I, once again, wanna thank you all.... every single person who hung out with me even once this year.... for allowing to be part of your lives, a real part of this city, and "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

Now it's time to head "indoors".
IT'S TIME FOR...
"THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR END CONCERT"
This year we'll be doing a whole bunch of new songs from the latest album, and I'll be joined on stage by favorites George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, Janet Kirker and Dave Marcus. Gonna be a blast!

The box office is open today!

Here's the first one of 2 brand new TV commercials for it!

Filmmaker Dean Love and I shot the second spot, but THAT is gonna be a surprise. I have something really audacious up my sleeve for that one! Trust me. I'm nuts!
And... okay, I get it!
So okay, MOST of you think that trying to put a .30 commercial on the air in Manhattan during The Daily Show for the new CD and the upcoming concert is just tooooooooo crazy to become a reality. I guess I don't blame you. (Ha! Except for 2 people, NOBODY has responded to the TV AD CAMPAIGN FUND!!!)
But, I'm an unapologetic "possibility-junkie" and I can tell you this.
It's gonna happen!
Another thing that is certain is that the concert this year is gonna be on Saturday night, December 12th. And this year we'll be joined by the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds.

Cool?
Okay, but before I get out of here... I GET TO BRING THE GOOD LUCK GIRLS BACK AGAIN TODAY!!!!
The New York Yankees played a hard fought game last night but took the lead in the World Series 2 games to 1 against Philadelphia in Game 3. (I'm predicting the Yankees in 6.)
See you guys back here tomorrow.
Miss hangin' in the park with you already. Hope I see you on December 12th.
Thanks for everything.
PEACE
All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
