Okay...

THIS WILL EVENTUALLY GROW INTO A PAGE WITH ALL THE SONGS AND VIDEOS YOU COULD POSSIBLY WANT TO SEE AND HEAR!

(And a few you'll wish you hadn't.)

Which way do you wanna go... backwards in time. Or would you rather start waaayyyy back and move forward.

.

.

.

Nah! Let's just jump around! But, I guess we'll kind of get started with some songs and videos about some of the more annoying people in this world. THEN THE FUN STUFF FROM CENTRAL PARK WILL FOLLOW IT FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE.

.

.

Yeah, let's start with some of the socially conscious and politically pointed stuff.

THEN WE'LL GET TO STUFF THAT'LL MAKE YOU SMILE! (Actually, you oughta be laughing at most of these people, too!)

Click on the images to watch the videos. Click on the links to download the songs for FREE.

Let's start with one about the person I call "The Pillsbury Doughboy of Patriotism" - Glenn Beck.

.

Next up!

Y'know? Let me get right to the meat of a subject before we have more fun on this page.

This music video hit the internet and started to get more initial views than any of my other songs, and then.... just stopped. I would hope that the people of this country would care enough to not only pass this kind of message around the internet to anyone else who cares about the rule of law in this nation, as well as basic human decency. (Go to YouTube and read the comments. There are a lot of frightened and twisted people out there.)

RESOLUTION

Pass it around.

Okay! Back to shining a light on the people who.... who... just deserve to be laughed at. (If they weren't so harmful at times.)

.

.

Now this one is nothing but fun.

It's a satirical music video I wrote about my Right-Wing Conservative nemesis, Stephen Colbert

.

Goin' waaaayyyyyy back. Remember this one!?!?!

This is the first song and video that actually started me getting my very first "hate-mail"!!!!

I used to try to answer hate-mail because it bothered me initially. But, then I learned to ignore it or actually get a kick out of it. I mean, part of my job description is to write songs that "Comfort the disturbed... and disturb the comfortable". Then y'know... if I'm not making somebody angry, I'm just not doing my job.

Still as I always say.... if you watch this video and you feel like sending me angry mail,, there are only 2 possibilities - either you didn't pay attention to the lyrics and you just don't "get it".... or this song is about YOU. In either case... Ha! I just don't care.

Now if you feel compelled to send me some "hate-mail"... please use SpellCheck. (Hate-mail loses it's umph with spelling errors!)

Oh and before I get out of this section - I want to share with a slightly newer version of the song "RESOLUTION" with different commentary and a different way of getting into the song.

.

AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

George W. Bush.... Dick Cheney.... Donald Rumsfeld... Condaleeza Rice. UnAmerican, Unprincipled, spiritually-bankrupt.... whew!

Sometimes writing these songs of purpose can be fun. But, it can get to be toxic after a short while.

.

OKAY... SOME MORE RECENT VIDEOS... THAT ARE A LOT MORE FUN!!!!

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

LET'S GET TO SOME FUN VIDEO FROM THE SUMMER OF 2009 IN CENTRAL PARK.

.

.

.

.
.

Tell you what.

I'm gonna do another page really soon with more video. BUT.... if you enjoy checking out this kinda thing, you can always browse YouTube for my name, or for "thatguitarman".

See you back at TODAY's update.

.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
