Can you believe it?

"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is only 5 weeks away.

Between now and then, I've got a few surprises comin' up here at the website.

One of the surprises has to do with... well, I'll let you know during the updates this week. BUT, I think it might have something to do with just one verse of the track "Tom Cruise Scares Me" from my latest CD. (Here's a tiny clip)

JUST ONE VERSE!

And another surprise has to do with...

Well, keep checking back every day.

One more time, let's start you guys off with a little photo gallery of just a few images from this past year out in Central Park.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

It was a really fun year... year #18!

Anyway, this past weekend was a fun weekend of rehearsal with many of the artists who you're all gonna get to hang with in Merkin Concert Hall on December 12th. We really did spend about half the time telling stories and laughing together.... which i feel is nearly as important as running song. It's the reason these year-end concerts are so much fun. Everybody genuinely likes each other and looks forward to making music together.

It's gonna be great.

I'm gonna try to get some images from one of the rehearsals posted here on the site tomorrow.

.

DID YOU GET YOUR TICKETS YET FOR THE CONCERT IN DECEMBER? If you haven't gotten them yet, the box office is open today. You can give them a call between noon and 7 pm.

This year is gonna be something special.

I can feel it already. I mean 2009 has been another pretty amazing year. But, I think we're all ready to get together in Merkin Concert Hall again and give it a good kick in the ass as it heads out the door.

LISTEN.... check back here tomorrow and I'll have a whole bunch of stuff about the gig.

And if you're new around here or you're checking in from a different part of the country or a different part o the world, make sure you browse through the "ARCHIVE" for all kindsa cool stuff - - FREE songs to download, Photoshop images, music videos, original cartoons.

.

Thanks for a GREAT year!

Thank you to every single one of you who showed up even once to hang with me in Central Park.

See you on December 12!!!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
