Well, y'know it was a really odd day out in Central Park last Saturday. And, it would kinda be a strange way to end another typically amazing season.
Interesting update today. BUT... if you're new around here, you might wanna also check the ARCHIVE for about a million fun videos, Photoshop images, FREE songs to download, original cartoons. Lotsa swell stuff.
Here in New York City, I'm looking at the radar imagery and the weather fronts that are moving this way and I'm thinkin' that, although we'll probably get another warm stretch before winter gets here, it might be too cold to hang out together for the next weekend or so.
So, we might all just hafta look forward to "The Something'th Annual Year-End Concert" in December.
But damn! We had a helluva a year sharing a lot of new music and lotsa laughs together.

Thanks again.
Gonna start you right off today with a FREE song to download. (I'm just in the mood.)
Hey, welcome to all of you checking in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. I promise you all that, even though I can't answer all of them, I actually READ every single email I get.
Got an interesting email yesterday from someone who looked at President Obama's winning of the Nobel Peace Prize with an interesting perspective. She was responding to this video...
Here's the email:
"David, there are many of us that know this [torture] ...is so wrong. The Nobel Peace Prize was given to the American people through their President Obama, to let him know of the world's hope also. I Love It. ~ Laurie "
Listen... today, just by way of answering some email I've received since the last email blast that went out about the music videos I've done that have a more socially-conscious thrust, I wanna answer with a few of those videos.
GLENN BECK is just the latest in a long line of spiritually bankrupt, shallow people on whom I've decided to shine a little light. Again... why?
Well, because it's part of my job.
Once in a while, it's my job to show that by rabid exploitation of fearful and closed-minded people, basically what he's saying to all people of Reason in this country is this.

really saying to you.
Of course that's Photoshop. Beck isn't genuine enough.
But, he's just one of the buffoons in the political punditry that are just... well, I would say assholes or twinkies. But, let's just say they're fun material for a couple of hooky songs.
Still... some subjects are not material for making fun. Because torture is wrong. It's morally repugnant. And, uh... um.... IT'S ILLEGAL!
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed... it's the only thing that ever has." Click on this link to leave your own thoughts and comments:
Okay.... one really fun video from Central Park this past season, just so you can shake that off!
If it made you smile, send the link to all your friends and family around the world and let them share part of your day in Central Park.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
