HEY... WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE!

We're only 6 weeks away from "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" in December!

Listen - if you're checking in here to see if I'm going to be playing in Central Park tomorrow, I hafta tell you. This weekend is the running of The NYC Marathon and so the entire park is pretty much shut down for preparations and security. It's a great event. But, nothing else happens in that park this weekend. So our season is over for another year. But I get to say, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for another typically amazing outdoor season.

But our year isn't over yet... not until we kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door with "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert". (More about that in a minute.)

But, first!!!

I get to bring the girls back!!! I get to bring the girls back!!!

The New York Yankees played a hard fought game last night but evened up the World Series at one game apiece as they head to Philadelphia for Game 3. (I'm predicting the Yankees in 6.)

Only... I'm gonna say this one more time. The umpires of MLB have done their jobs so poorly in this post season we've reached the point where making the argument for the use of instant replay in this sport nearly beyond debate.

A first based umpire can understandably miss a trapped short-hop on a fly ball to the first baseman. BUT... it is a missed call that is obvious in an instant replay. Last night it gave The Phillies an undeserved double play, robbing The Yankees of a possible BIG inning. Then in the following inning, the same ump misses a first base "safe" call that robbed The Phillies and might have let them climb back into the game.

Just disgraceful... both ways. The entire post season.

Okay... the concert!

And to prove to you that I'm completely crazy, here's a little .30 commercial we shot for this upcoming gig.

Crazy because I'm actually gonna try to get it on TV by Thanksgiving! Now, do YOU wanna help get it on the air here in Manhattan!? I'm gonna try to get this thing on the air here in Manhattan in the month of November.... during The Daily Show. So, if you feel like helping out with a few bucks to make that happen, just throw whatever you can at "THE TV AD CAMPAIGN". I'm serious. CLICK ON THIS LINK if you wanna be a part of it.

Or just donate something to that fund in the top right-hand corner of this page.

(Actually.... I'm one of the sanest men I know. I LOVE my Life.)

Alright, I'm gonna be back tomorrow with another update, a FREE song to download and some more surprises.

So, check back okay?

Hope I see you at the concert in 6 weeks. We're gonna have a blast this year.

Okay... I'm outta here. See you tomorrow with another update.

Thanks again

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
