Hey.... missed you guys this weekend.
I guess we'll hafta keep our fingers crossed for good weather next Saturday. I'd really like to get a couple of more weekends in before we wrap another season.

Certainly can't complain, though. What a year we had.... starting out at "The Hill" and then hangin' out at "The Away Game" for the second half of the season. Lotsa music, lotsa laughs, lotsa beautiful crowds of people from all across the country and around the world.

Thanks for a great season.

Thanks
And this past weekend I had a couple of wonderful and fun experiences.
YESTERDAY! I wound up playing a gig on a boat that sails out of New York's Greenwich Village called the "Star of Palm Beach". I was booked by a group of people from some Village neighborhood associations.
Had a great time, turning a bunch of swell people into a singing, laughing bunch of kids.

Then...
THIS PAST SATURDAY NIGHT! I was given a chance to do something most independent artists never get to do I think. Y'know, I said this yesterday. I always say that one day in my life very rarely resembles the day before. Well, last night a wonderful woman from "The Hill" who you've heard me mention as part of The G.I.G. Foundation threw a little get together for all of the artists who were a part of my brand new album "Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way".
Y'see.... most people don't think about this. But, Kara realized that most often artists and musicians on a CD project are never in the same room as a song is being produced and recorded. Very often, the people who collaborated on the same song never even meet each other. Everything is tracked these days.
So, she thought it would be cool for everyone who worked on the new album to get together in the same place.
It was amazing to hang with that many really, really wonderfully creative and Good people. And it was great to give them a chance to get to know each other. The circle grows.
Okay...
SO!
I'm sure we'll be playing a lot of the new stuff from the CD at "The Something'th Annual Year-End Concert".
The box office is open today if you wanna call directly and speak with Jake or Sarah to get your seats early.

If this helps at all, here's a seating chart for Merkin Hall. (The stage is actually designed for orchestral stuff. So, it's very wide. That just means the entire house is really very near the stage... very intimate. And the place sounds great! Not a bad seat anywhere in that room.)

BTW - pay attention to that dotted line. See? The balcony is like right near the stage!
Click on the banner to order tickets online right now!

Grab some tickets early if you can.
See you guys here at the site all week with anew update every day! If you're new around here, or if you're checking in from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, take a few minutes (or hours) to browse through the ARCHIVE. Lotsa cool shit in there.
.
Thanks for everything.
