Hey guys! Welcome to the website.

As always, I wanna welcome all of you checking in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. Got a fun update for you today. I love getting your email and the photos you all send in to the site. It's very cool. (I can't answer all the email I get, but I promise I read every single one.)

Right up front, though, I have to talk to all of you here in New York City... any of you who are thinking about getting out to Central Park one mo' time before we hafta call this season a wrap!

Right now.... it's not lookin' so good for this weekend. Gonna miss you guys if it stays this rainy and cold. But what a year we had!

Oh... hey!

You guys who know me how much I love sharing music and laughs with all of you. and if you're at all familiar with the songs I write, you know that I like to write songs with that "It's Just Us" feeling.... to let each other know we're not alone.

But, Ha! I always say that it's sooooo important to "pay attention"

Well, I've been paying attention to an insect-like man named Glenn Beck. I actually watch his show almost everyday until my gag reflex takes over. Then I hafta change the channel.

But when he talks about the debate over Health Care for all people in this country, he keeps referencing how the idea of a "public option" will lead to less choice for the American people. (Option.... means....less choice.) Hmmmmm.

It reminded me of this scene from a kick-ass movie!

ANYWAY!!!!!

Let's just start looking forward to "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" in about 8 weeks.

I can tell you this. some of the guys in the band are already kickin' around some ideas for some of the songs we'll e playing this year. George has a couple of great ideas for cover tunes that everyone on the theater might be able to jam on. and of course, we'll be playing a bunch of new songs from the new album. (Don't know which ones yet!)

Listen, we had another typically amazing summer together in the park this year. Were you lucky enough to be out in Central Park with me a few weeks ago? Thousands of New Yorkers, people visiting from across the country and around the world, all hangin' out together singin' and smiling.

Remember this moment when a young couple (Girl from Budapest and guy from Toronto) asked for The Beatles' "Hey Jude". Well, she asked because she said he was too shy to ask. Now, I played the song he requested and the people all sang it. But... (Here's something you won't see in the video.) ...when we got to the climax o the song, I waved to Mr. Shyness to jump in and sing it with me. AND HE DID!!!! (Listen closely. When you hear someone goin' nuts at the end of the song, that's him. Will from Toronto.)

OKAY... THE CONCERT!!!!!!

This year we'll be doing a whole bunch of new songs from the latest album, and I'll be joined on stage by favorites George Wurzbach and Dave Marcus. Gonna be a blast!
