Okay... new week.

Lotsa stuff to get to. I have a feeling this is gonna be another really, excitingly, amazingly eventful week, and yet... I have NO idea what I'm talkin' about!

I do know this... I really missed hangin' out with you all in Central Park this past weekend. I'm thnkin' that one way or another we'll get to share and afternoon of music and laughs this coming weekend. Got a good feeling about the weather Saturday, even though The Weather Channel is saying otherwise right now.

BUT!

I'm pretty sure my ol' buddy, harmony-man David Marcus is gonna be back in town. If he is, you KNOW I'm gonna be looking forward to singing with him again in the park. (I'm not sure if he's ever sung with me at "The Away Game".

David Marcus

So, keep checking back all week and I'll let you know what's up.

Oh HEY!!!! Once again. Personal friends and family!!!! I had a nightmare with Sprint since last night so I decided to cancel my account with them. I just made the jump to an iphone. (So, I've got a new personal phone number.)

(If you're a personal friend or colleague of mine and you need the number, email me at my personal email account, okay?)

Um... been about 10 minutes since I said this, so I'm gonna say it again.

I feel like the luckiest man alive. I really do.

Like... last month I flew over to Germany to do a one-night gig in Berlin, and got to play a set in a music festival in The Tiergarten. Then a week ago... friends of a guy from Germany named Alex, who became one "The People on The Hill" over the past few years, came to "The Away" game and had a great time.

An American in Germany ...and Frauen in America

Over the years, I like to wonder how many people are now in every corner of the earth with swell memories of hangin' with all of us in Central Park.

Okay.

Listen, I'm gonna try my best to get some new video on this site in the next day or so. But, those things are a lot of work to edit and upload and this website is essentially a one-man gig. (Y'know... along with all the support I get from The webmaster, James Marino.)

But, there's a lot of really fun video and some more politically pointed... um... fun video... here in THIS UPDATE from yesterday!

Back to the music!!!

THE NEW ALBUM IS HERE AND YOU CAN GET IT RIGHT NOW!

The webmaster of this site, posted that convenient link at the top of this page on the left for you to order the CD right now. (I'll let you know the minute the individual tracks are available on itunes as well.)

'

I'm gonna try to figure out a way to really celebrate it's arrival. Maybe we'll just make the "Year-End Concert" in December a kind of "release party" as well as the fun tradition that gig is every year! It's gonna be swell to get all the artists on stage with me to play this thing LIVE.

Here are A few 2-minute clips from the CD:

ANY OTHER WAY

Okay... if you're new around here, take a few minutes (or hours) to browse through the ARCHIVE. Lotsa cool shit in there.

Keep showing up guys.

See you in Central Park next Saturday!!!

And, I hope you guys here in NYC are already thinking about the friends with which you're gonna share the "Year-End Concert" - SATURDAY NIGHT, DECEMBER 12TH. (Yeah, it's a long way off. But this is gonna be a special one this year!)

See you tomorrow.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
