Are we in for a beautiful day here in New York City, or what!?
If you're gonna be in town today, head on out to Central Park and hang with me for a while. I have a good feeling about today. just gonna head out to "The Hill around 12:30, put my guitar on my shoulder, hang out with a few thousand close friends, and see where the day goes from there.
If you with me at the "Fog on the Hudson" concert series last night... I mean, "Sunset on the Hudson"... thanks so much for showing up. I had a really great time playin' for you guys. And then... timing was everything. I finished up almost exactly at 9:00 pm, got in a taxi on Christopher Street around 9:15, and it started pouring rain about 9:17.
(whew!)
But, at least we got in another night of music and laughs.
HEY! As I was mentioning last night... got a new CD that will be released sometime soon before the end of the summer. This upcoming CD is filled with some really fun songs, some love songs and some uplifting songs. But, I'd really like to know how this song and video make you feel and I'd like to know what you think about the subject of the song.

I'm really serious. The point of the song is to raise the level of dialogue, national discourse and awareness about torture in our name... yours and mine.
TODAY... oh man!!! I am soooooo looking forward to putting my guitar on my shoulder and heading back out to "The Hill" in Central Park where I belong. It's the place in New York City that most feels like home to me. If you're gonna be in town, please come and hang with me.
I'm really so lookin' forward to hangin' with all of you in Central Park on Saturday afternoon. Hope I see you there.
Thanks for everything.

PEACE

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
