Funny... while most of the country is heading back to work this morning, I'm gonna spend the first part of this day in quiet reflection.

Then... back to work.

I often say, "One day in my life rarely resembles the day before." and that's one of the reasons I consider myself such a lucky man.

But, this weekend the very different kind of life I lead was really vivid to me. Kinda ass-backwards in many ways.

While most of the country was taking a 3-day vacation, I got more work done than I though I would. And yet at the same time, I'm doing what I love and having sooooo much fun. This past Saturday I played a 6 HOUR set... almost non-stop... in Central Park.

Sunday, I spent a good part of the day mapping out vocal parts for a couple of songs on the new CD and then laying them down in the studio with Teresa Reynolds and Christine Lavin. Then yesterday, it was up to Yankee Stadium with my pal, "David Yankee". (Yes. Yes. In case you were wondering.... YES. I jinxed the streak by talking about it here at the website. Yanks lost in a game with an exciting finish.)

But, then it was back in the studio after the game with Brian Bauers last night until after 1:00 in the morning. Can't wait for you guys to hear these tracks. I'm really excited fr the release of the new album.

NAME THE CD

The chore of picking the name for the new CD is gonna fall to you guys this year.

I'll give you a choice of 5 titles that I'm thinking of, and you can choose from them. I'll also give you the list of the tracks that are gonna be on the album. You can pick one of the songs to be the title track. OR... you can write in a suggestion of your own.... something you feel the CD should be named.
