Hey guys!

Seriously.

What an amazing day yesterday.

This photo from yesterday and the one below, sent in to the website from Laura Manske

Y'know? Every time I get to put a guitar on my shoulder and hang out with around a thousand of my closest friends in Central Park, it reminds me that I am the luckiest man alive.... certainly the luckiest artist I know.

But, some days are more "golden" than others. And yesterday was just something really special for me.

Singing each song for the sake of the song. Looking so directly into so many beautiful faces. Telling stories. Sharing my thoughts. Having a few laughs. Letting you all into my heart. Sharing my feelings openly with absolute safety and sincerity.

Whew!

Listen, this has been some week for me. First playing the brand new song in Washington D.C. Then, yesterday in Central Park, where I feel like I'm "home".

Alright, I gotta get to work.

But, thanks again.

Really, thanks so much for a beautiful day yesterday.

Oh, and just as I promised yesterday, here's the FREE download of that brand new song I'm releasing ahead of the new album.

Nice to be "home".

Thanks for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
