Hey guys.... welcome to the website. Welcome to any newcomers and welcome to all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world.

All of you regulars, all of you who check in here every day... you know who I am. You know my music and you know about the things I care deeply about.

And you know how much I love hangin' out with you in Central Park every Saturday. We'll be out there again this coming Saturday. I have a feeling the weather's gonna cooperate.

And you know I often say, "One day in my Life very rarely resembles the day before."

Well, the next few days will exemplify that. So, here's the line-up.

Okay, here we go.

Last Friday after I played the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert in the Village, I shot over to the studio with Brian Bauers to do the final mix on the new song called "Resolution". I wanted to release it before all the other songs on the CD, and so we rolled it out as a FREE download on Sunday.

Well, I was nearly immediately contacted by organizers of "Torture Accountability Day" protest in Washington D.C.. They would like me to come to Washington to do the song for our fellows who also care deeply about this issue. (I was going to attend that rally anyway, so of course I said, "YES"!)

So, TOMORROW morning or tonight I will be on a train to Washington. I would urge you to be a part of it all by getting to D.C if you can. Or in lieu of that, spend the day tomorrow sending this song to EVERYBODY you know.... and sending the link to this website to EVERYBODY you know - or send it to your favorite blog or news organization.... or send it to your representatives in Washington.

Here's the song.

Okay, moving on...

Then on FRIDAY night, it's back down to the Village, back down to the end of Pier 45 at the end of Christopher street for the next installment of the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series. That's where we play the Sun down from 7:00 to 9:00.

Very cool.

Moving on...

Then SATURDAY... oh man!!! I am soooooo looking forward to Saturday!

I'm putting my guitar on my shoulder and heading back out to "The Hill" in Central Park where I belong. It's the place in New York City that most feels like home to me. If you're gonna be in town, please come and hang with me.

THEN....

...a kind of a dream come true for me.

On Sunday, another cause. Another opportunity to use my music and presence for something that really matters. And... I'm going to be sharing a stage for the first time in my life with a man I feel is truly both an American hero and a music legend... Mr. Pete Seeger. I'll be appearing at:

New York City's First Annual Water Festival

Featuring Pete Seeger and friends.

Okay, is that enough for you!?

Alright, I gotta get to work gettin' ready for all of these events. It's all very cool.

But, I'm really so lookin' forward to hangin' with all of you in Central Park on Saturday afternoon. hope I see you there.

Thanks for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
