Here's a new day.... so much to do.

Hey, if you're new around here because you came out to hang with me in Central Park this past Saturday afternoon.... welcome and thanks!

If you're one of the people who went down to Pier 66 for that celebration of the first annual New York Water Day, hope you had a really wonderful and inspiring time. Sorry I wasn't able to share the stage with Mr. Pete Seeger yesterday.

Maybe one day.

If you're wondering what happened after I was saying how much I was looking forward to it all week?

Don't ask. I'd rather not say.

Moving on.

This past Saturday was just one of those "golden" days. Just as I promised in the park, here's the FREE download of that brand new song I'm releasing ahead of the new album.

I don't know if you guys were out there when I tried this little experiment for the very first time... singing the song to a track with all of you in the park. But, I'm gonna try to arrange for the other 2 vocalists on this track to come out to "The Hill" and take another run at it.

If the content of this song means anything to you, please fell free to download it and pass it on. And send the link to this site to everyone you know and let them download it for themselves.

If you're new around here, or if you're checking in from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, take a few minutes (or hours) to browse through the ARCHIVE. Lotsa cool shit in there.

Thanks for showing up here today. If you're in town, maybe I'll see you next Saturday in Central Park.

Thanks for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
