Well, we seem to be stuck in one of those patterns early in this season. High pressure over New York City all week and then the unsettled systems move through on Saturday and Sunday. And.... here we are again.
I personally think tomorrow's gonna be a decent day to hang out in the park.

I really do. I have a feeling Sunday's gonna be the wet one.
BUT!
This year you're just gonna hafta check the website to see which day we're gonna be heading out there, okay? Because we'll go with the Sun. (I'm thinkin' it's tomorrow.)
Y'know? This is usually "travel day" or "get-outta-town-day" for Memorial Day Weekend.

But, i have a feeling all year many people are gonna be staying put on these long summer weekends. Y'know? Save a little money. start to reacquaint themselves with this town and some of the simpler ways to enjoy Life.
So, maybe we'll see a nice crowd and a lot of new faces out at "The Hill" this year.
Hey, last night I went on one of my patented "diner-runs" with a friend I met out on "The Hill" years ago named Dave Konis.

He was mentioning that he missed the now popular Citibank phone call.... so here it is one last time.
Okay now... a couple of days ago I posted a phone conversation I had with an employee of Citibank. I told you all that I though, if you listened to the ting right to the end, that you would probably wind up with a smile on your face.
Well, a lot of people have been hitting that CONTACT button and emailing me their feelings about the whole thing. It's been pretty cool.
So, today I decided to post it one mo' time.
We've become tragically aware that unregulated financial institutions, banks, credit card companies and executives of low character and less principle have been bilking the American people for profit in the most outrageous and underhanded ways.

Well... I decided to call CITIBANK! The woman on the other end of the phone just made my day! (But, I bleeped out her name on the outside chance that if anyone at Citibank ever heard this sweet person they'd probably fire her ass faster than they raise interest rates!)
Make a cup of coffee and settle back. The conversation is about 16 minutes long. But, I really think you'll smile by the end of it. And, I think you'll understand why I named my last CD... "I LOVE THE COMPANY".
Here's the phone conversation.
MY CALL TO CITIBANK
Did you have at least a little fun with that?! I'm thinking about turning it into a video of some kind. I think it's good for all of us to know that we're not alone.
Okay...
If you're new around here, be sure to check out these videos and feel free to leave a comment of you like.
