Well, I'm lookin' at the satellite imagery from The Weather Channel... and I'm thinkin' we're gonna get out to "The Hill" tomorrow.
In fact, I have a feeling about tomorrow. I think it's gonna be a golden day. If you've got no other plans and you're gonna be in town, I hope I see you out there.
Y'know?
I just started working on the next album, the next CD. And, I'm hoping to have it available for you guys in the park before too long this summer. In a few weeks I'll be conducting a "Search to Name the CD". It's gonna have tracks on it like Keep Hope Alive, Any Other Way and Belong.
But, last night I was putting the finishing touches on the lyric of a brand new song that is one of the saddest songs I've ever written.
So, I need to smile today.
Throughout my life, one thing that never ever fails to make me smile is watching this man dance. I grabbed one of the first videos I found in YouTube and sure enough.... I'm smiling.
Here, let me share it with you. (Click on the image)
Speaking of YouTube videos...
If you've missed it or if YOU need to smile today for your own reasons, check out these videos.
Click on these links and let me know what you think of these silly things!
And make sure, if you go to YOUTUBE and watch the video spawned from my "Feud with Stephen Colbert", make sure you leave a comment. I love reading those things!
Click on this image to check out a song dedicated to the man I now call the "Patriotic Pillsbury Doughboy of Democracy"....
Okay... thanks again to everyone who showed up for "Opening Day" last Saturday in Central Park. Hopefully I'll see you again tomorrow at "The Hill".
If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.
Thanks for everything.
PEACE

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
