I'm heading out to Central Park! Gonna put my guitar on my shoulder and hang out with a few hundred very close friends.
I imagine out at "The Hill" today it will be a whole lot like the visitors to this website. I imagine there will be people from all across the country and different parts the world out there today.
We're gonna have blast, and I think we might have a couple of really cool surprises. So if you're one of those people who decided not to do the whole crazed-traffic-get-outta-town-thang and just stay in town to relax, come on out and hang with me! Got some new songs. We'll see what happens.
By the way, if you're new here at the website, take a minute to hit the Archive. There's a lot of really fun stuff around here... videos, FREE songs to download, cartoons, Photoshop images.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
