Hey!
Welcome to the website! I have a special Memorial Day comment toward the bottom of this page. But first I have a question...
Were you out there in Central Park with me yesterday?
WHAT A DAY!?

.
Listen....
You hafta check back in here later today and tomorrow!!!
I'm most definitely gonna have photos and video from yesterday up here on the site all this week, maybe starting tomorrow. And if you're new around here, please bookmark this page and make a point of stopping by often. (I update it every day.)
How often have I told you guys that I feel like the luckiest man alive? Well, yesterday was just another example of why I feel that way.
Did you dig the hot dogs!?
How about some of the new songs!?
Click on this link to email me and let me know how you felt about the whole day yesterday. And if you have any video or photos, I'd like to see them, too. Maybe we'll post a few here.
Here are just a few vidcaps from yesterday.

Singin' in the Sun

Alex from Germany helps with the primal scream

All about tossing the hot dogs!
What a great day!!!
Thanks again!

MEMORIAL DAY COMMENT
I don't know about you, but when I was a kid and just old enough to begin understanding the significance f this holiday, I always found it a little odd or disjointed to wish someone a "Happy Memorial Day".
Y'know?
Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day because it was a time set aside to honor the nation's Civil War dead by decorating their graves. Over 150 years, (And way too many wars later.) it's a day set aside to remember all those who've died in service to this country.
So, today... here in 2009, I'd like to leave you with this thought today.
.

.
I apologize.
.
Between the time I produced this graphic and the time I posted it here today, another soldier was killed when a rocket was fired into the "Green Zone"... making today's total 18 this month and an even 4,300 since this illegal, immoral, unjustified, colossally stupid, historically ignorant and wholly unprincipled invasion and occupation began.
Just a thought.
Keep those young men and women in your thoughts this weekend.
And, then... keep in mind the hundreds of thousands of civilian Iraqi men, women and children who continue to die every day.
Just a thought for Memorial Day.
See you back here tomorrow.
Thanks for everything.
PEACE
