Another day in New York City of inside work. BOTH kinds of inside work.
Funny, though. I have that feeling again.... that the weather is gonna be perfect on Saturday. (Or once again.... maybe it's just a little gas.)
I'm inside today.
Really inside today.
Actually writing a song. I think a very sweetly melancholy song just wants to be written today. So, who am I to turn it away.
Thanks to Kara and the G.I.G Foundation, I think I'm gonna be able to start working on that new album that is sooooo overdue. So, out in Central Park, you'll finally be able to take home a CD with songs like Keep Hope Alive, Belong, Any Other Way, Here Today....
I might even put a couple of topical songs on it... those songs that eventually become collectors' items. Songs like GLENN BECK SCARES ME. (Oh, maybe I won't mess up a perfectly good collection of songs with something like this. But...)
Here! Check out this video. Click on this image to check out a song dedicated to the man I now call the "Patriotic Pillsbury Doughboy of Democracy"....
Oh yeah!
And make sure, if you go to YOUTUBE and watch the video spawned from my "Feud with Stephen Colbert", make sure you leave a comment. I love reading those things!
Okay... thanks again to everyone who showed up for "Opening Day" last Saturday in Central Park. Hopefully I'll see you Saturday at "The Hill".
If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.
Thanks for everything.
PEACE

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
