You guys gettin' ready. You feelin' it?

Another season out in Central Park, hopefully beginning Saturday, May 2.

This summer, Emmy Award-winning film producer and director, Dean Love will be heading out to Central Park with all of you to shoot a movie about... um... well, about what I've been doing in Central Park for so many years.

Here's a song from my "Crazy on the Same Day" album that explains what I do in just a few minutes! (Free download)

Singin' in Central Park

This year I'm gonna bring some new songs out there with me. Some songs I've written over the winter and a bunch of new cover tunes. I'm really chompin' at the bit to get out there. I have feeling this is gonna be another amazing season - but different somehow.... even more special. (I have nothing specific to point to.... just a feeling.)

I might as well re-post this little gem.

I was watching "The Colbert Report" last night, and it seems that members of Congress are beginning to get involved in the controversy over whether NASA should be naming part of the International Space Station after Stephen. (I'd be behind it 100% if he actually came out of the closet and told his "nation" that he digs my music, even though he loathes my politics.)

Stephen hates anyone like me who makes sense.

(But then, so do most people on the conservative right.)

I don't know if you saw yesterday's update. But, I kinda got busted for grabbing the Queen of England's bum.

Oh, what the hell.

Here it is again.

Okay... I'm outta here. Got a song to finish.

If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.

Alright, if you're in town I hope I see you guys out on the hill starting in May.

In the meantime, I'll be back here tomorrow.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
