Welcome to everyone checking in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
GOT THE NEW VIDEO HERE FOR YOU TODAY! And, another song for you to download for free.
Y'know... most of you who've been following this website, or listening to my music, or attending my concerts, or showing up at "The Hill" in Central Park...
(By the way, keep your fingers crossed for good weather this Saturday. It's supposed to be Day One of year #18 for us sharing music and laughs out in the park.)
Anyway... here ya go!
It's brand new. I sang this song in front of a LIVE audience for the first time last Saturday night, and then again this past Monday at Birdland. Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, Dean Love, was in the house Monday night and caught the song on camera.
While I was crankin' it out, folk-legend Christine Lavin and a couple of her friends surprised me by jumpin' up on stage and laying in some background vocals. It was so very cool, and the crowd seemed to dig the new lyric.
So, click on this image to check out a song dedicated to the man I now call the "Patriotic Pillsbury Doughboy of Democracy"....
Oh... and here's another song to download for FREE. (Just to keep us from disappearing down the well of complete silliness.)
That's just a quick shout to let Stephen Colbert to let him know that.... the feud goes on.
I'm still not speaking to Stephen Colbert, unless of course he decides to come out and hang with us one day in Central Park.... and actually let's people know he's there. No more disguises!

And here's another song that was inspired by my "Feud with Stephen Colbert"
Feel free to leave comments or hit the "Contact" button up there to shoot me an email and letting me know what you think of these things.
Like I said, I'm still not speaking to Stephen.... although.... I still watch "The Report" every night.
I watch Glenn Beck.... um... well, that's not true. I monitor Glenn Beck's show once in a while until I either wet myself laughing at his stupidity or start to gag.
Okay now, it's onto the next song!
Who knows what's next!?. Keep checking back.
I can't wait to hang out with all of you in Central Park this year. With everything that's going on in America today, we're gonna have an awful lot to sing about this year.
If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.
Alright, if you're in town I hope I see you guys out on the hill.
In the meantime, I'll be back here tomorrow.
Thanks for everything.
All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
