Welcome once again to everyone checking in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
GOT A BRAND NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR YOU TODAY!
If you're here in New York City, I sure hope you got out there this weekend to enjoy... um... Summer. (It showed up for a couple of days this weekend.) I got a ton of emails and even a few phone calls from people wondering why I wasn't at "The Hill" in Central Park on Saturday.
Opening day, this season... is this coming Saturday!
MAY 2nd
Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
Okay...
Here it is.
Now you guys who've been showing up here since my last concert at Merkin Concert Hall in February may have been following my "Feud with Stephen Colbert".
Well like so many other things in my Life, it inspired a song. (And an accompanying video.)
Let me know what you think of it, okay? Go to the page on YouTube and leave a message for Stephen, a message for me, or just a comment about the video!
I'm not speaking to Stephen.... although.... I still watch "The Report" every night.
Anyway, okay.
Now, it's onto the next song!
I have a feeling it will be up o the sight by the end of this week. Keep checking back.
I can't wait to hang out with all of you in Central Park this year. With everything that's going on in America today, we're gonna have an awful lot to sing about this year.
If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.
Alright, if you're in town I hope I see you guys out on the hill.
In the meantime, I'll be back here tomorrow.
Thanks for everything.
All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
