Man!

Hey!

Sorry about another late update! But, I have a couple of new Photoshop images that will wind up in the video for the song I wrote for the "Feud with Stephen Colbert". (More about that further down the page.)

(In case you're new around here... I'm not speaking to Stephen.)

Well, we're gettin' closer to opening day. This weekend is gonna be summer-like. Let's hope the following weekend is too.

Listen, this year we're gonna move around just a little bit. But opening day 2009 will be one week from this Saturday.

OPENING DAY!

SATURDAY, MAY 2

Abnd it will be at "The Hill". (The same place we've been hangin' out for all these years.) Again, if you're new around here, here's a little map.

But like I said, this year we're gonna move around just a little bit. We'll spend May and June in our usual location... every Saturday afternoon. But, abut 10 days ago I received a phone all from Nelson Nicholas at the Parks Department (Good guy and fellow musician/songwriter), and he told me that there's gonna be some construction going on at "The Hill".

But, it's cool. For most of July and August they're just gonna move us to the alternate hill I used to call "The Away Game". (Tell you more abut that as it gets closer.)

Cool?

We'll just make it up as we go along like we always do.

HEY!

Okay, I just finished writing a song called "A Special Kind of Friendship". It's about my ex-friendship with Stephen Colbert. It's the kind of thing that makes this feud all the more difficult.

We'll see if Stephen decides to bury the hatchet, admit to his nation that he actually likes my music, and comes out to "The Hill" this year.

But, in the meantime you guys just keep showing up, okay? As long as "you keep showing up then I will too".

SINGIN' IN CENTRAL PARK

Oh hey... WAIT!!! You wanna be in a movie!?

Seriously. If you come and hangout with me all this summer in Central Park, you're probably gonna be a part of a film that's being made this year about... um... about... uh...

me.

And, about what I've been doing with all of you at "The Hill" for the past 18 years.

The filmmaker, Dean Love, is gonna be shooting everything we do out there. So, call a few friends and make plans to join us on Saturday, May 2 to kick off the summer.

I can't wait to hang out with all of you in Central Park this year. We're gonna have an awful lot to sing about this year.
