Well, I'm on my horse today. (I'll get to that in a minute.)

First.... I don't know where in the country or where in the world you're reading this, but here in New York City this weekend is really beginning to feel like Spring. If everything goes according to plan with the Parks Department, we'll be back out at "The Hill" in Central Park in just 4 weeks from today.

BUT TODAY? I've gotta make a couple of road trips all in one day.

One of our friends who hangs out with us all the time in the park is having a little gig in his honor down in Asbury Park, NJ in association with the Garden State Film Festival.

Sid and Paul McCartney

There's gonna be some kind of "panel" discussion after they screen a documentary about my pal, and he said it would make him really happy if I was part of it. So, I'm gonna hafta show up.

that I'm writing - inspired by a voice mail from Sid.

I don't know how long that's gonna last. But then I'm gonna try to shoot back up, through the city and out to Long Island because one of my nephews, Cammie, is having a birthday party. (Really wanna show up for that one, too.)

Then it's back into town.

Back to writing songs and getting ready for another season in the park.

And on Monday, getting ready to resume my "Feud with Stephen Colbert".

If you're new around here and you have NO idea what this whole "Feud with Colbert" is about, you can hit the "Archive" and catch up.

In fact, here's a direct link to some of the past images from the "Feud". (I'm still workin' on the song!!!)

Okay, outta here.

See you TOMORROW!

Thanks for everything

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
