Welcome to the website.

Kind of a cool thing happenin' if you're gonna be in town this weekend.

Got a really cool, small little gig at a much more intimate music venue than Merkin Concert Hall tomorrow night. And you can reserve seats here at the website today!!! (Further down the page.) But, it's not looking like a complete sell-out right now, so you might be able to just show up tomorrow night and get in.

Also here at the website today.... well, here's a new link to the STEPHEN COLBERT FEUD GALLERY.

Man! I really am the luckiest man alive. I mean, write song and I sing them for people. AND, I work with the coolest, most generous artists... who also happen to be really nice people.

Well, one of those guys is moving out of the city. (Oh, I'm sure he's gonna make it back to the city for a few big gigs, like the concert at Merkin Concert Hall. And, how could anyone who's experienced an afternoon with all of you in Central Park stay away for long?)

I'm gonna share a stage Friday night with a guy who's been singing with me in Central Park since just around 9-11. He's leaving NYC and heading back to his original home state of Maryland. But he's been a part of many of the "Year End" concerts, as well as becoming a regular down in The Village for the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series.

He's my longtime backup vocalist and friend David Marcus in a kind of a farewell performance. We're gonna get together at H.I. New York Performance Hall and sing every damned song we can think of. It's actually a very cool little venue for this kinda thing! It's a very simple, little concert that will feel a whole lot like our afternoons on "The Hill" in Central Park.

Friday night, March 20th (The day winter ends)
7:30

H.I. New York Performance Hall
Amsterdam Ave @ 103 Street

(I think it will mean a lot to Dave of all of you showed up to kinda say, "Thanks for the music. Thanks for bein' part of a really cool thing here in New York City." Y'know?)

GONNA BE A FUN NIGHT because more than half of the songs Dave and I sing together are cover songs that you guys all sing along with. So, this is gonna be might to really let it rip, just like we do in Central Park in the summer.

H.I.N.Y. only has 150 seats as compares to the 450 at Merkin Concert Hall. So, you might wanna grab tickets today or this weekend. All you do is hit the banner up there and reserve as many seats as you need. Your name will automatically be placed on the "Guest List" at the door that night. (Or just show up with $15 that night. ALL seats are the same price!)

Okay... cool.

Gonna see you and your friends Friday night?

Hope so.

If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.

Have fun.

Alright, I gotta get back to work. Be back tomorrow.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
