What a day here in New York! March is most definitely goin' out like a lamb.

Y'know, tomorrow is the first day of April. That means there are only 4 weekend between us and opening day at "The Hill" in Central Park.

I've been writing songs and lookin' around for songs by other artists to cover this summer. I've already found a few that I can't wait to run by you guys in the park. I just have a feeling about this summer. I think it's going to be a very special time.

And with the way things are in the economy, and in Washington and in the world these days, I have a sense it's gonna feel really good to hang together out there... for a lot of different reasons.

If you're here because I met you at Jim Caruso's Cast Party last night... welcome! I hope you bookmark this page and show up here every day. (I get so lonely. I love the company.)

Hey in yesterday's update I mentioned that I came very close to the lead in a feature film, co-starring with my ex-friend and new-nemesis Stephen Colbert.

Well, I just got word today that they're actually considering the two of us for the sequel.

Now on his show LAST NIGHT, Colbert was all inflated over the fact that he got his "nation" to put him over the top in NASA's contest to name a module on the International Space Station.

I think I'm just gonna hafta let this go.

Who knows? Maybe Stephen will come around and show up at "the Hill" this summer. But, y'know.... without the disguise.

Okay... I'm outta here. Got a song to finish.

If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.

Alright, if you're in town I hope I see you guys out on the hill stating in May.

In the meantime, I'll be back here tomorrow.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
