Well, this is gonna be an interesting week.

(But hell, every day is interesting when I'm really paying attention!)

I wanna start putting some video from last week's concert up here on the site. I'm thinkin' the easiest thing to do would b to post it on YouTube and just embed them.

Funny... a while back (about a year and a half ago) a friend of mine named Sid asked me to meet him at Strawberry Fields in Central Park on John Lennon's birthday. I decided to bring along a video camera I had borrowed from James Marino, the evil genius who built this website, and see what I could capture from the day.

Today - I'm gonna post the 2 -part video I made here today, only because... well, I often tell you guys I get buried in email most weeks from all over the place. But, yesterday I got an interesting shout from someone.... who was wondering something about the video.

Here's Part I.

Kinda cool, right?

Okay... now here's PART II

The reason I decided to post this today is that... this person who was viewing the video actually picked someone out of the crowd and just had to ask a question.

*****

nice vid. i'm just curious about something. at about 4:45 in on the video, is that julian lennon? the guy with the green t-shirt and wearing glasses. he looks a lot like julian lennon. he has that lennon nose and he also has a big forehead like julian has.

*****

While I'm sure the answer is "No", I just think it's amazing that somebody picked something out that is so fleeting and obscure. I went back and looked.... and I hafta say... DAMN!

I'm sure it's not. But this guy looks like he cold most definitely be related to Lennon.

Yeah?

Okay listen.... I'm outta here. I'll be back tomorrow with another update. I'm still working on that song I'm writing, inspired by my "Feud with Stephen Colbert". Here's a new link to the STEPHEN COLBERT FEUD GALLERY.

Have fun!

Okay... cool.

If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to someone a while ago that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.

I'll be back here tomorrow.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
