Oh man!

First, gotta tell you guys.... yes, for this summer I had the Colbert tattoo removed!

.

Now.... damn! Last night! Maher.... Coulter...

Well, you'll hafta check back here tomorrow for a review. BUT!

Last night my good friend and colleague, Christine Lavin and I went over to Radio City Music Hall to catch the debate between Bill Maher ...and one of the vilest, most repugnant women I've ever witnessed... Ann Coulter.

.

You'll have to come back tomorrow for a full report. I can't get into right now. Met a couple of cool people (Molly and Richard) and a colleague, Jonathan Edwards (Sunshine Go Away) came over to chat with Chris. All around a really fun night. But, that Coulter.... just twisted and... just twisted.

Oh yeah, and promised a couple of people I met last night that I would post a FREE download of my song THE RELIGION SONG here on the site.

Moving on to the Good stuff.

Well, Life is all about change. One thing is gonna change this summer in Central Park.

Many of the people in this town who come out to "The Hill" don't know my name.... they just know me as "That Guitar Man from Central Park". Well, the guy who many of you know as "that guy who sings harmony" has become a longtime friend and musical partner. He did some great work on my most recent CD - I Love the Company.

His name is David Marcus.

Well, turns out... Dave feels it's time for a change. So, he's makin' a move back to his home state of Maryland after years of living and working in New York City.

I'm gonna be planning a gig where we can all get together, sing some, share some laughs, and say good bye to Dave. Give "The People on the Hill" a chance to say "thanks" and good luck.

Listen, check back later today or tomorrow and I should be able to announce where and when we'll get it together.

Okay, before I get outta here I'll just leave you with the link if you wanna contribute to this year's Permit Fund"...

...and that little Colbert gallery from yesterday. (I'll update you on my feelings about Stephen tomorrow.)

Click on some of the images for a larger version. Feel free to copy them an email them to your friends who might be fans of "The Colbert Report".

. .

.

Outta here.

Cool?

Hey listen! If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to one woman that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.

Have fun.

See you back here tomorrow.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
