Got a full day today!

How 'bout you?

Man! I'm tellin' you! I had such a great time with all of you guys in Merkin Concert Hall last Thursday night. And the following night, all of you in Margate, New Jersey.... what can I say?

Thanks.

I can't wait to see ALL of you out on "The Hill" in Central Park this summer.

Before we get into the fun stuff today, I just wanna direct your attention to a Special Edition update... but, it's mostly directed toward those of you who like my music but disagree with me politically! (Or who actually listen to this.... person.)

for the Special Edition update.

Then, back to the important stuff.

Oh listen... I announced this yesterday, but I might as well try to mention it every day.

This entire season, I'm gonna be followed around by an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker who's making a movie about... "That Guitar Man from Central Park". But both of us agree, the real story is you guys. So, if you want to tell Dean Love your story about Central Park and the "The Hill" and the music, just check out that link over there on the right of this page.

Cool?

Even you Stephen!

(Yeah, I'm still completely willing to let Stephen Colbert share his story with the world if he has the courage to do so... even if he didn't have the balls to show up at my concert last week.)

Music is the bond. Stephen just loves the Love songs, although he won't admit it. Y'know, as politically different as we are... I think our friendship can endure.

Hell!!! Even though I wrote song after song and worked hard to make it happen, I was there for him the night it became clear that Barack Obama was going to be our next president.

More emails are coming in. I'd like to share a few with all of you.

Mary from New York wrote:

Not only will I not speak to him, I think everyone on Facebook should "Unfriend" him...

A lovely young woman from France named Elodie Pauwels writes:

S. Colbert has a French name, but I have nothing to do with him !

Rhea from New York wrote:

I don't even know who Steven Colbert is BUT I will never talk to him. (did I spell his name right?).
LOL

Magan from Buffalo writes:

what's going on with u and clobert? im still confused? r u guys fighting?

That's just a sample. So, thank you for all your support. Keep those emails comin'. Hit the "Contact" button. Maybe you'll see your message here this week.

Hey listen! If you're new around here.... there's a lot to check out. Besides being a self-described "possibility-junkie", I was explaining to one woman that I'd also become a photoshop-junkie. You can hit the "Archive" here and search through hundreds of updates. A lot of cool stuff here at the site. FREE songs. Cartoons.

Have fun.

See you back here tomorrow.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
